Here's the scoop:
Weight loss is not about losing weight super fast, getting high-fives from your pals, and then gaining it back. That's called yo-yoing and nobody likes a yo-yo. Plus, it's super bad for your heart. Weight loss is a lifestyle - one that you can absolutely obtain and live with! The key to getting this lifestyle started is ACCOUNTABILITY. By signing up for this program, you are holding yourself accountable to eat clean, exercise, make smart food choices, and weigh in at the studio at least once a week.
We have two versions of WLW. Version one is simply a self-monitoring program and allows you to earn points for losing weight. This version of WLW is FREE and runs continually - you can join ANYTIME! You WEIGH YOURSELF. You write down your loss or gain on our WLW board (in the lobby, this is the board on the left). If you lose, you earn 1 point per pound. If you gain, you lose 1 point per pound. **we reserve the right to peek over your shoulder at the scale at any time.**

Version two is the WLW Transformation Challenge, a 6 week no-joke weight shedding program. To participate, you must enroll in the program by clicking here, sign a weight loss contract, weigh in weekly, attend the weekly WLW meetings, pay attention to what we say, follow the meal plan, weigh in at least once per week, attend at least 3 cycle/circuit classes per week, and YOU WILL SHED POUNDS. The winner of this 6 week program (based on body fat percentage loss) gets a free unlimited month membership, or 50% off their next WLW session! In the lobby, percentages for the WLW Transformation Challenge will be posted on the board on the right.

Body Mass Index (BMI)
Body Mass Index (BMI) is a person's weight divided by the square of their height. A high BMI can be an indicator of high body fat. BMI can be used to screen for weight categories that may lead to health problems but it is not diagnostic of the body fatness or health of an individual. Click HERE for to detrmine your BMI.


Body Fat Percentage
Use a tape measure to determine your waist, hip and neck circumference. Then input your gender and measurements into a body fat percentage calculator to receive a body fat index based on average values. Here is a good one: Body Fat Calculator
